Fire resistant rolling shutters

Security Shutters Ltd. supplies the SS F240 compact tubular motor fire shutter, which is a 4 hours fire resistant shutter. They are commonly used in factories and warehouses where a fire break is required. They can also be used in openings up to 50 sq metres.

It is usual to have fire shutters in the open position closing on a fire signal from client’s fire or smoke alarm to automatically close in the event of fire. However it has become quite common for electrically operated fire shutters also to be used as the access control.

Both our SS F120 and SS F240 fire shutter options are available with battery back up facilities and full audio and visual warning technology which can be linked to the building’s fire alarm system.

Fire shutters are commonly made from traditional galvanised lath and are available in RAL colour paint finishes that best suits clients’ needs.
